I went to bed last night stunned. I had just watched the Minnesota Twins come back from a 6-1 deficit to beat the Chicago White Sox 7-6 in extra innings. Next, when I turned to ESPN to see what they had to say, I then found out that wasn't all that happened. The #1 NCAA College Footbal team, the USC Trojans were trailing the Oregon State Beavers 21-14 in the 4th quarter. Both teams would score again, but the Beavers ended up winning 27-21 becoming the first team to knock off a #1 team since 1990. Yet, that wasn't the end of the crazy night in sports. The New York Mets had a needed walk-off hit to beat the Chicago Cubs 7-6 in a regular 9 inning game. Then, the Milwaukee Brewers won on a walk-off grand slam to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in another crazy game. The sports analysts had to be going crazy because I knew I was. The Brewers and the Mets are tied with 3 games remaining, while the Mets are 1 game behind the Phillies. The Twins are half a game ahead of the White Sox, and that is after sweeping the White Sox in a 3 game series. Man, times like this is why I absolutely love sports.

I woke up this morning feeling way better than I have been. I still have sore throat, and I haven't been able to stay awake for more than a couple of hours because I'm so tired, but I just felt that I had made improvement. My mood is happy, and I am excited to head back to school. I feel like I have been missing out on classes for weeks, and that I'm falling behind even though I have been keeping up and trying to stay ahead. The only classes that I'm really nervous about are music appreciation because I left a needed CD in my dorm, and my wellness life class because that is the only one I have thats not online. We had a quiz today, but I haven't been able to take it. I should be ready as I have been reading up on it at home with nothing else to do. Home is beginning to get old as all I'm doing is sleeping, watching tv, and sleeping. I will most likely be going to bed at 10 as soon as I get to college again and have something to do each day. I wonder how tired I'll be when I actually have goals in my day.

I woke up this morning to write in my blog because I have been sick and I didn't know what to do and I don't want to fall behind. I haven't felt good for over a week now, but I went to the doctor on Friday and she told me I had Mono, how exciting. As soon as she said that I had a plan. I was going to go home, and mom was going to make it all better. Well, she's tried and I still feel terrible. The hardest thing about is all this is that I'm worried I'm going to fall behind in all my classes. I have been trying to be ahead of it all, but I have had absolutely no energy to even attempt it until this morning. I am curious to see how long the little energy I have lasts. It's times like this that I realize how hard some people fight against more serious diseases and infections. How do some people manage to put up with cancer for years, and have little or no energy but still manage to be fighting it the whole time. That has to take more will power than anyone could imagine. Hopefully I can get over this before too long and be back in class not worrying about it as much as I am now.

This weekend was an alright weekend. Not very many amazing things happened this weekend but I still lived through boredom. I found out that I forgot to study for a quiz, but it turned out to be kind of easy. Kind of only because I don't want to say it was really easy and then end up getting a D or something. My neck is kind of stiff this morning. The best part of my weekend was when I got a text saying the 49ers had won 33-30 in OT against the Seattle Seahawks, and then that text was followed by one sayin the Giants had won 8-6 in extra innings. Although the San Francisco Giants have no chance at making the playoffs this year, they are starting to look good and I keep getting more and more excited for next season. The 49ers, on the other hand, should be able to win their division if they can play some football. They lost to the Cardinals in the first week by 10. Another good part of my weekend was watching the Minnesota Vikings blow a 15-0 lead and lose 18-15 to the Colts of Indianapolis. Adrian Peterson of the Vikings dominated the first half with over 100 first half rushing yards, but was shut down pretty much in the second half. Other than that not much really happened this weekend. I pretty much just walked football all weekend. The Steelers beat the Browns last night 10-6. Those games are the more intense less action games. I wonder who plays tonight. I am going to guess the Cowboys and the Eagles maybe. I don't remember a score for either of those teams.

1.What are your strengths?
I am a funny athletic guy. I am not shy very often.

2.How do you perform well?
To get the job done I usually keep at it until the job is done. I believe that if you take a break for too long you're not going to come back with the same intensity you had in the first place.

3.What are three of our top values?
Three of my top values would include sports, College, and family.

4. What do you want to contribute to this class?
I want to express my creativity of writing.

As I went to bed last night I had the chills. I was sweating up a storm and still freezing out of my mind. I didn't get much sleep and still feel sicker than a dog. I have a sore throat and I almost didn't even make it to my first class because I thought I was going to die. I think I will make it but I noticed that I was feeling sorry for myself earlier so I made sure that I would make it to class. After I showered I made my way downstairs for my routine of an 8:40 Monday,Wednesday, Friday breakfast. I had a ham and cheese omlette and noticed that it wasn't the same thing as my fathers omlettes but atleast it was edible. I also know that I left my chapstick upstairs and my lips are as dry as a desert and I'm to lazy to make my way up to the dorm and get it. I messed up on my Algebra quiz and I got one accomplished and my computer froze up or something and now I can't finish it, so hopefully the professor will allow me to redo it.

During the recent weekend there was a lot of things I learned. I learned that I enjoyed my roomate being gone rather than him being along, and also that there are some guys in our hall that can be really loud without being enjoyable. I woke up this morning dreading school, but now I am kind of glad that I'm in it. I also noticed that my roomate is the shyest person I have ever emt and its not even a good time when he's there. I went to shower and the shower was crowded so instead of standing around a bunch of guys in towels I waited in my room, and thought I was going to be late for class. When I finally got in I hustled so I could get down to breakfast in time to enjoy it. With my great time managing skills(almost), I made it to class with breeze. I found out I did have homework this weekend but luckily it wasnt alot so now that I have my laptop I can write down a schedule of todo list stuff, and not worry too much about it. Today we have to run the mile I'm kind of excited to see where I am at from the past, but also nervous I might not do so good. It's hard to be in front of a new group of guys like the baseball team where nobody knows me yet. While I was typing a minute ago I noticed that we might have to do projections throughout the year which I am not looking forward to now.
